Les Grandes Tables de Suisse
Founded in 1960, the association Grandes Tables de Suisse brings together Switzerland's most talented and creative chefs to promote the culture of taste and the art of entertaining (www.grandestables.ch). Chaired by André Jaeger, it encourages exchange between exceptional chefs committed to providing both high-level cuisine and an exceptional environment for their guests.
The chefs of the Grandes Tables de Suisse like to define themselves as "creators of pleasure and happiness": the pleasure of flavour, but also of sharing time away from the stresses of the world.
Paolo Basso in search of the perfect pairing
S.Pellegrino Sapori Ticino can count on the expertise of Paolo Basso, Europe's Best Sommelier in 2010, who will select many of the wines that will accompany the culinary creations of these gourmet evenings.
S.Pellegrino Sapori Ticino: quality and a warm welcome
Founded in 2007 by Dany Stauffacher, the festival grew from the conviction that good food contributes not only to enjoyment but also to well-being. S.Pellegrino Sapori Ticino quickly came to be seen as an unmissable event, involving themes of local specialities, quality products and wine alongside hotel services and catering.
The long-term partnership between S.Pellegrino and the festival is as much a question of the heart as the mind. Beyond the shared values of quality and celebration, S.Pellgerino and Acqua Panna are the unofficial mineral waters of haute cuisine, found on the most prestigious tables in Switzerland and around the world.
Similarly, the event has brought together other enthusiastic partners over the years, such as Nespresso, Nestlé Professional, Mercedes, Garage Winteler, Crédit Suisse, Diners, Alias, Darwin Airline, Les Ambassadeurs, Davidoff, Riso Gallo, Rapelli, Hugo Dubno, Spaccio Ittico, Kai, Franciacorta Bellavista and Riserva Moretti, Vinattieri Ticinesi and Castello Luigi, the Querciabella and Hofstätter wine cellars and Ticinowine.
Alongside these great names are institutional partners including Ticino Turismo, Mendrisiotto Turismo, Maggiore Turismo and Lugano Turismo and media partners Fontana Print, Gastronomie & Tourisme, Il Caffè, Tessiner Zeitung, Ticinovino, Ticino Welcome, La Grande Cucina and Chef di Cucina Magazine.
