Nestlé Waters helps flood victims in Rio de Janeiro
São Paulo - January 2013: Nestlé Waters, in support of flood victims in the mountain region of the state of Rio de Janeiro, has donated 24,000 liters of mineral water to the Brazilian Red Cross, which is coordinating support to the local population that has been left without shelter. By doing so, the company demonstrates its social responsibility and supports the victims that currently total 200,000 people (5,000 of which have been left without shelter), according to the department of Civil Defense of Rio de Janeiro. Nestlé would like to thank all employees that have so quickly worked to make this donation possible, as well as specially thank all employees that will volunteer in the distribution of the products to the affected population with the Red Cross team.
