S.Pellegrino, our sparkling mineral water brand that has become synonymous with Italian good taste and lifestyle, marks its 120th anniversary this year.
Our brand, which has embraced Italian passion for fine living for over a century, celebrates this significant milestone by highlighting the emotion and experience that comes with dining in company.
We are celebrating with the top gastronomy community at popular events such as the Cannes Festival this week from May 14-25.
Earlier this year, we unveiled our anniversary limited edition bottle, which has taken inspiration from diamonds and is dedicated to the world of restaurants, during the Bocuse d’Or Grand Final at the Sirha in Lyon, France in January.
We also hosted a gala dinner at the Royal Palace in Milan in collaboration with the National Chamber of National Fashion on the last day of Milan Fashion Week in February, where guests were treated to a theatrical dining experience that brought to life 12 decades of S.Pellegrino’s history.
Our Italian history
With our belief in supporting young talent in gastronomy, we teamed up our S.Pellegrino young chefs with a three-star Michelin chef at the gala dinner to create a dining experience that spotlighted our Italian history.
Guests were provided with an insight on nature in the historical Sala delle Cariatidi room, which was illuminated with cloud-like artwork in a white haze in glass domes on the tables to show where the journey of water begins. This was followed by a nature-themed dish by our young chef, Elisabeth Puquio Landeo, S.Pellegrino Young Chef 2018 South America finalist.
Next, we paid tribute to the Casino of S.Pellegrino – where we built our brand and well-known iconic image and tasting experience – by reconstructing Casino structures on the tables. Our young chef, Paolo Griffa, S.Pellegrino Young Chef 2018 Italy finalist, prepared an Italian dish to represent our country’s roots.
We also lit up the evening with skylines of iconic cities worldwide to reflect our global presence, before our young chef Yasuhiro Fujio, S.Pellegrino Young Chef winner 2018, presented a dish to symbolise our international heritage.
120 years of memories
Guests were then presented with the anniversary limited edition diamond bottle at the end of the dinner event.
