Carlo Galli becomes Head of Sustainability at Nestlé Waters
At Nestlé, we have been bottling water at the source, filtering it, and protecting it in transit for more than 100 years. We understand the journey from the source all the way to the bottle, but we also know how easily water and the environment can be taken for granted. That is why we are pleased to announce that Carlo Galli has taken the new role of Head of Sustainability for Nestlé Waters.
With more than 25 years’ experience in water resource management, Carlo has been a catalyst for Nestlé’s commitment to water stewardship. As part of that Carlo will oversee the certification of all Nestlé Waters factories to AWS standard by 2025.
All aspects of sustainability matter for Nestlé Waters, from water reduction in our operations and water access in communities, to reducing plastic use and recycling our bottles.
This is how we strive to achieve Nestlé’s purpose of enhancing quality of life and contributing to a healthier future by address environmental challenges and delivering water in smarter, more sustainable ways. We care deeply for water and we want to promote and protect it for generations to come.
