2017 marks 10 years of VITTEL's relationship as a key partner of the Tour de France, keeping competitors refreshed and offering roadside spectators unforgettable experiences behind the scenes, in the caravan and on the course itself. This year, the VITTEL initiative "The Tour is yours!" lets the public share the thrill of the race and VITTEL's cherished values of fun and friendship.
Caravaners reward the fans
This year, VITTEL's famous publicity caravan is its biggest ever at 120 meters (the longest in the procession), with 14 vehicles including two refreshing the crowds with water cannons. 126 spectators are invited on board for six hours of festive fun as they join the procession preceding the riders at each stage. Caravaners distribute 1 million bottles of VITTEL water, gifts and 500,000 copies of the daily Tour newspaper, as well as 200,000 clap banners to help the crowds cheer on their favorite riders.

VITTEL shares its values of fun and friendship during the Tour by offering 84 lucky spectators an unforgettable VIP experience in the heart of the Tour de France Village, where they can mingle with the riders, as well as local, national and sports celebrities.
Champions for a Day
Several hours before the pros make their appearance, amateur riders have a chance to feel the same emotion as their idols as Champions for a Day (called VITTEL's RAND'EAU), cycling the last 10 kilometers of the day's stage and across the finish line.
As they've done for the past 10 years, VITTEL provides refreshment and renewed vitality to Tour de France cyclists and spectators alike.
