The SANPELLEGRINO Company is Champion of Made in Italy in the world

Milan, 24th October 2011 – The Sanpellegrino Company, leader in Italy in the beverage category, was awarded "Champion of Made in Italy in the World" and was assigned one of the yearly "Confindustria Awards for Excellence – Andrea Pininfarina".
During a Congress in Turin on "Make it in Italy", attended by Italian Institutions and the top Management of Italian major companies, Stefano Agostini, Sanpellegrino CEO and President, was presented the award by Emma Marcegaglia, President of Confindustria(*).

The prestigious award is a tribute to the Company that has most actively contributed to the international diffusion of the "Made in Italy" and the Image of Italy and the Italian values in the international markets.
Sanpellegrino conquered the award also thanks to the Italian Talents project, through which the Company has built since 2010 important partnerships with other Italian Companies of International acclaim (Missoni and Bulgari so far), to communicate worldwide the innovation, quality, design and prestige that make the Italian lifestyle and culture famous abroad. Symbol of the partnerships were the precious S.Pellegrino natural mineral water Special Editions 2010 and 2011.

It is also a reward for a typically Italian resource that is strictly linked to its territory of origin, San Pellegrino Terme, in the Bergamo Province, where S. Pellegrino water flows and from where 700 million bottles are distributed worldwide every year.
