The well-known “red star”, global symbol of Made in Italy, will be the official water of Expo Milano 2015 and of Padiglione Italia, with a Piazzetta tematica Acqua dedicated to Water. It’s the only food&beverage company having a double partnership.
Collaboration details and different initiatives S. Pellegrino will be promoting during the international event have been presented on June 26th: educational and entertainment projects, and a special edition bottle to be distributed from January 2015 in 150 million samples throughout 80 Countries in the world.
The historical brand S. Pellegrino, part of Sanpellegrino Group and symbol of Made in Italy food quality all around the world, will be protagonist of 2015 World Exposition. At Restaurant LARTE in Milan, it has been announced that the well-known “red star” will be the official water of Expo Milano 2015 and of Padiglione Italia, responsible for the management of the thematic area Piazzetta tematica Acqua that will be set inside the pavilion. To date, S. Pellegrino is the only food&beverage company having the double partnership with the global event, which represents a unique occasion for Italy and for all “Made in Italy System”’s companies.
The press conference saw the participation of Stefano Agostini, President and CEO of Sanpellegrino Group, Diana Bracco, President of Expo 2015 S.p.A. and General Division Commissioner for Padiglione Italia at Expo 2015, and Giuseppe Sala, Expo 2015 S.p.A CEO.

Expo Milano 2015 will be doubly important for S. Pellegrino.
S.Pellegrino, as the official water of the event, will create a dedicated special edition bottle, that will be distributed from January 2015 in 150 million samples throughout 80 Countries in order to promote the event at a global level.
During the exposition, special occasions will be organised with educational and entertainment scopes, to promote healthy, sustainable and gourmand lifestyles even through the promotion of Made in Italy talents linked to fine cooking and renowned chefs.
Padiglione Italia will be a display for Sistema Italia, an icon place able to best represent Italian excellences linked to the Expo main theme “Feed the Planet, Energy for Life”. In this context, S. Pellegrino’s Piazzetta Tematica Acqua will be an educational and entertainment place where adults can be informed about the correct waste division, the informed and responsible use of water resources and the importance of a correct and high-quality hydration for the body.
