Disaster relief

Bottled water is critical in the event of an emergency. Because our products are both safe and portable, they are ideal for assisting communities facing interrupted water supplies.

As a corporate citizen, Nestlé Waters is committed to distributing high quality products to the population in times of natural disaster or other exceptional situations.

To provide an immediate response in such emergencies, Nestlé Waters has established partnerships with the Red Cross and AmeriCares in North America for instance. Between 2005 and 2007, we donated to families across North America over four million bottles of water to disaster relief. In 2007, our company also distributed more than one million bottles of Arrowhead spring water to the Red Cross and other relief organizations during the terrible wildfires that raged across Southern California.

In 2008, we provided more than 350,000 bottles of Ozarka spring water to citizens and disaster relief workers affected by Hurricane Ike which battered southeast Texas and southwest Louisiana.

The same year, we supplied safe drinking water to the victims of tropical storms that hit Indonesia, and we worked alongside the British army to provide bottled water to those affected by the severe weather conditions and the floods in the U.K.
